Available for RAM 2500 through 5500 applications, this tuning supports multiple power levels ranging from optimized stock through 200HP, with CSP5 switch-on-the-fly tuning available for compatible pickup models. Optional 68RFE transmission tuning can further improve converter lockup, shift strategy, line pressure, and torque management. 

These applications require the RAM CM2450B ECM upgrade service, along with compatible HP Tuners hardware and licensing.

ECM / TCM Unlock Information

ECM:

• Requires the HP Tuners RAM CM2450B ECM Service to upgrade the ECM for tuning.
• The original ECM must be shipped to HP Tuners to complete the unlock/upgrade service.
• ECM licensing requires 6 Universal Credits.

TCM:

• No TCM upgrade or unlock service is required.
• TCM tuning requires separate HP Tuners licensing.
• TCM licensing requires 4 Universal Credits.
• Custom transmission tuning is available only for vehicles equipped with the 68RFE transmission.

Switchable Tuning (available power levels listed above)

CSP5 Switchable Tuning allows you to select between multiple predetermined power levels without stopping to reflash the ECM.

CSP5 is available only for pickup trucks and is not compatible with Cab & Chassis trucks.

How to Change Power Levels

CSP5 tuning allows you to change maps while the truck is running or driving.

Power levels can be changed using:

• The factory OEM cruise-control buttons, or
• An HP Tuners CSP4/CSP5 pass-through switch

The CSP4/CSP5 pass-through switch plugs directly into the OBD-II port and allows you to change power levels by rotating the switch to the desired position.

The switch also includes an OBD-II pass-through port, allowing another compatible device, such as a monitor, to remain connected at the same time.

There is no need to stop the truck and wait for the ECM to be reflashed when changing between loaded switchable tuning maps.

Transmission Tuning

**Transmission tuning is available only for the 68RFE transmission.

Custom transmission tuning can improve shift behavior, towing performance, and how the transmission responds to increased engine power.

How to Identify Your Transmission

• 68RFE: The transmission pan has a rounded, turtle-shell appearance. The transmission dipstick is located on the passenger side of the engine bay.
• Aisin: The transmission pan is relatively flat and typically has Aisin marked on the side. The transmission dipstick is located on the driver side of the engine bay.

IMPORTANT:

• A Windows-based computer is required to read and flash tuning into the vehicle and/or transmission.
• Requires a compatible HP Tuners MPVI3 or RTD device.
• RTD4 devices are supported through HP Tuners TDN.
• Requires the 2018+ Dodge Smart Access Cable to enable reading, writing, and special functions.
• Requires the RAM CM2450B ECM Service for ECM tuning.
• The original ECM must be shipped to HP Tuners for the ECM upgrade/unlock service.
• ECM tuning requires 6 Universal Credits.
• TCM tuning requires 4 Universal Credits.
• No additional TCM upgrade service is required.
• Requires VCM Suite BETA 5.3.755 or newer.
• CSP5 tuning is available for pickup trucks only and is not compatible with Cab & Chassis applications.

7. Your files are sent within 24–48 business hours after we receive all required information and files.
8. Follow the provided instructions to flash your truck and complete installation.
