Custom tuning gives your truck more pulling power, smoother shifts, and better fuel efficiency under load, making towing safer and easier on your engine.

IMPORTANT: 

• All vehicles and transmissions require a Windows based computer for the flashing of your vehicle or transmission with your tuning option.
• Vehicle tuning requires an unlocked ECM for flashing of tuning.
• Transmission tuning requires a TCM Exchange. 
• ECM or TCM tuning require an HP MPVI Device + Licensing for deployment, MPVI must be an MPVI3+ or an MPVI4 device.
• The E42 ECM has Global B security and requires to be sent into HP Tuners to be unlocked*
• Due to the complex nature of these tunes. a stock file must be sent to us after unlocked. You may put the ecm back into the truck and drive around like normal until modified tune file is received
• Requires MPVI3 or RTD4 to flash
• **TCM : Requires Original TCM to be sent into HP Tuners to be unlocked.
• Do NOT perform over-the-air updates on your Gen 2 L5P.

Unless you know exactly what the update is for, do not let GM’s OTA system flash your truck. If the update description says anything like “Engine Control Module” or “Powertrain Control Module,” do not install it — it will overwrite your calibration. Even if it only says “generic update,” skip it. GM’s OTA system doesn’t tell you what’s inside those updates, and once applied, it can’t be undone without a full reflash.

2. You complete the Tune Order Form, where you give us your trucks specs, and information. 
3. We ship your device the next business day, your parts come afterwards.
4. You send us a stock readout using your device, we give you instructions on this.
5. We write your files, and send them over to you within 24-48 business hours after receiving your tune order form & stock readout. 
6. You receive your instructions, files, parts and you’re ready to go.

*Our techs are available for phone or tech support if needed during the installation process.

For a 2024-2026 L5P full kit; you’ll need:

• A Device [MPVI3/4]
• Tune Package
• An EGR solution 
• A DPF Solution

The device is required to flash your tune file into your truck, and the hard parts help remove those systems from your truck and the tune. 

After purchase, you’ll receive your tune within 24-48 business hours, on the contingency we’ve received the required information. Devices are shipped within 1-2 business days from purchase.
